I've been reflecting on the ideas of escaping and acceptance.
They're connected, you know. We try to escape what we can't accept. And when we accept things, we don't need to escape them.
Alan Watts wrote about this. He said:
“So long as the mind believes in the possibility of escape from what it is at this moment, there can be no freedom.”
